I'm more likely to dream big and take leaps of faith.
John's more likely to make sure I have a soft place to land--either that or he blows big breaths to keep the air under my wings.
John's more likely to want to make a big move or make a big purchase and talk, talk, talk about it.
I'm more likely to hold his hand, look him in the eye, and say, "Go for it honey."
I'm more likely to get dinner on the table.
John's more likely to get everyone laughing as we share a meal.
I'm more likely to get stressed about all the chores I have to do.
John's more likely to get on the kids about the messes they make--and make them clean up their stuff.
John's more likely to sleep in on a day off.
I'm more likely to say, "Let's have an adventure today."
John's more likely to suggest we have a date night.
I'm more likely to pick the theme and restaurant.
John's more likely to read the manual on every new gizmo.
I'm more likely to ask him to help me to get my gizmo to work.
John makes my days brighter.
I make his life more risky and interesting.
I'm thankful God not only gave me a companion. He gave me the person who makes my talents, dreams, and values doable, workable, and fun.
How about you? How do you and your spouse compliment each other?

And the Lord gave ME a husband that complements me - and I didn't even pray for it! Didn't come to Christ until after I was married.
So many ways--he's a numbers guy and I'm a word gal. He thinks logically, I...um...don't. I could go on and on. Great post, Tricia!
Stop over from Joanne's Friday Find. Funny how God is able to blend opposites together.
God blessed me with a husband that has perfectly balanced me for thirty-eight years. When I met my husband he was the one that had been praying, for God to send him the wife He intended for HIm to have. My husband must have moments he wonders about this crazy lady God sent him! Fantastic post, Tricia!
